Great place to unwind

(Italiano) We came for a rest and since we couldn’t do the mud baths/massage that you normally come to Abano for, we stuck to the swimming. Wonderful warm water which soothes the senses.
As for the rest of the hotel, staff were friendly and attentive (when are they not in Italy), the room was fine, a little old fashioned but with plenty of wardrobe space for a long term stay and a balcony, of course. We loved the restaurant, which had a good choice in the evenings with fresh fish every day as well as a tempting collection of desserts. Would come back here any time and warmly recommend it for anyone looking for a spa holiday or just a good place to stay and explore the area, as it has much to offer (Venice 1 hour away by train, Padua 20 mins drive, Vicenza or Venoa 1 hours drive…)
Do go the market on Wednesday, as you may get lucky and find good shoes or clothes at an unbeatable price. (Try the fried fish from the fish stand for a fantastic picnic, you get some wine from the wine stall)

Very relaxing – lovely warm pools

(Italiano) We stayed here for a week over Christmas. The food was excellent and the bar prices were not over the top. The staff were so pleasant and obliging, not least the charming young couple who ran the hotel and pool bars. Our room was large with a balcony and plenty of storage space, and the bathroom was well equipped. The cleaning was carried out to a high standard.

Although we did not take advantage of the many spa treatments available, we really enjoyed using the swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. The water was wonderfully warm and it was fantastic to be able to swim outside at Christmas!

Amost enjoyable stay.

Everything about the hotel was great…

Positive: Visited in June 2013. Everything about the hotel was great, friendly atmosphere, excellent location, well trained and friendly staff, excellent price . We’ll be back in the fall.
Negative: The public computer had only a RUSIAN Language keyboard! ! ! ! ! As a result I was unable to check my e-mail daily as I wished to do….

Totally revitalised in less than 48 hours!

On a Visit to Italy to see my family, we decided we would stay for two nights at this Hotel. We took a coach provided by SITA from ‘Piazzale Roma’ – which took about an hour and a half from Piazzale Roma to just outside this Hotel. I beleive the coaches run to and from this area on a daily basis, and this service also runs to Venice’s Marco Polo Airport.

We arrived in low Season, but there was still enough movement which meant the Hotel did not feel deserted. The breakfast was a buffet, and the lunch and dinner was lovely. There is also a salad and fruit buffet which you can have as well as your hot meal. If there was something on the menu you did not like, the waiting staff were more than happy to arrange a replacement, a steak or some cheese being some of our options. The food was plentiful and tasty. No bread however unless you asked for it, which in italy was a bit strange.

The rooms were clean and welcoming. Carpeting throughout, and there was airconditioning which we did not need to use, however I can imagine this will be more than needed during the summer months. There was also a nice balcony which can be used if required.

The two swimming pools were fantastic, and there is a twice weekly water gym class for guests to attend free of charge. The steam room (or Grotta) was excellent, and you really noticed the different in your skin after a few minutes use.

On Thursday’s, there is a plentiful evening meal by candlelight, followed by dancing and music.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay, this Hotel is ideal if you are wanting to relax and have some peace and quiet.
