Great place to unwind

We came for a rest and since we couldn’t do the mud baths/massage that you normally come to Abano for, we stuck to the swimming. Wonderful warm water which soothes the senses.
As for the rest of the hotel, staff were friendly and attentive (when are they not in Italy), the room was fine, a little old fashioned but with plenty of wardrobe space for a long term stay and a balcony, of course. We loved the restaurant, which had a good choice in the evenings with fresh fish every day as well as a tempting collection of desserts. Would come back here any time and warmly recommend it for anyone looking for a spa holiday or just a good place to stay and explore the area, as it has much to offer (Venice 1 hour away by train, Padua 20 mins drive, Vicenza or Venoa 1 hours drive…)
Do go the market on Wednesday, as you may get lucky and find good shoes or clothes at an unbeatable price. (Try the fried fish from the fish stand for a fantastic picnic, you get some wine from the wine stall)
